5 Things I Want To See In Season 2 Of The Muppets Mayhem

In the words of Dr. Teeth, Oh yeah!! After watching Muppet Mayhem, I have some questions that could be answered in a second season. There are some spoilers from the show, so you have been warned. 

1. How Did It All Begin?

Aside from the awesome cameos, the one thing I would want to see more of are the flashbacks. The Electric Mayhem do not have much of a backstory on screen, so it would be interesting to see how Floyd and Dr. Teeth found Janet, Lips as well as Zoot. It would also be neat to see how Animal grew up. Animal, like some people including me, view and understand the world differently. 

It would be interesting to see how Floyd raised Animal and how they knew to keep him on a chain. Did he run away one day and Floyd thought, "Maybe we should keep him close to us so he doesn't run away again." 

Also I am curious how they became the house band for The Muppet Show. Did Kermit go to one of their shows and offer them the gig?

2. How Did They Get Their Names?

We now know why Dr. Teeth is called Dr. Teeth, and why Animal is called Animal. What about the other band members? Is Janice her given name or does it mean something? Is Zoot called Zoot because he wears a Zoot suit? Is Lips called Lips because he doesn't have lips or because he plays the trumpet?

3. Does Anything Wild Happen On Tour?

With Animal as your drummer, you know something crazy is bound to happen. It would be interesting to see where the tour stops and if the band goes site seeing along the way. I can imagine Animal running around Times Square or at the beach chasing after seagulls. Does the band go on talk shows to promote their tour? I know Sargent Pepper and Animal did a bunch of interviews I saw on YouTube for The Muppets Mayhem including the Henson/Muppet fan website ToughPigs.

4. Does Nora Hook Up With Moot Or JJ?

Nora was getting pretty close to Moot near the end of the last episode of the season. This might just be me shipping or the show itself. I think that Moot and Nora would be good together as a couple since they seem to have a lot in common aside from The Electric Mayhem.

JJ doesn't seem right for Nora. He seems to be too uptight and it doesn't help that Animal keeps calling him bad throughout the season. I also don't think JJ believes in The Electric Mayhem and all he seems to care about is getting the music catalog from Wax Town Records for his music application.

5. Where did Animal Come From?  

We know how Floyd Pepper found him but what is he? Is he a monster? An alien? Is he something else like a Whatever? Also does he have family that resemble him like Gonzo? I wonder if season 2 will explore his family or backstory.

The show was great and something different for the Henson company. Music and The Muppets are a great combination. I really hope it gets a second season, we need more content from The Muppets.
